To: Resorts World NY Potential Vendors

We are excited to begin working with your company on this new project. Prior to providing goods or services to Resorts World NY there are certain regulatory requirements.

Any vendor wishing to provide services, supplies or equipment to Resorts World NY may be required to be licensed or registered with the New York State Gaming Commission unless otherwise specified. The categories of Vendor Licensing are:

Casino Vendor: Offering goods/services that directly relate to casino or gaming activity

Ancillary Casino Vendor: Offering goods/services ancillary to gaming activity

Vendor Registrant: Offering goods/services to a gaming facility licensee that is not a casino vendor or an ancillary casino vendor, such as:

The timeframe for licensure or registration depends on the completeness of the application, response time to deficiency requests, and the results of the New York State Police background investigation or N.Y.S. Division of Criminal Justice Services criminal history report. Temporary licenses may be granted. A permanent license determination will be made following completion of a New York State Police background investigation.

If your company is a Minority- and/or Women-owned business (MWBE) seeking to do work with Resorts World, you may find more information about the state’s MWBE program from the Empire State Development (ESD). For more information on how to register and be certified as an MWBE business, visit ESD’s Division of Minority and Women Business Development (esd.ny.gov/mwbe.html). The Commission’s MWBE requirements will be enforced by the Commission’s Director of Regulation and Compliance.

If your company is a Service Disable Veteran Owned Business SDVOB seeking to do work with Resorts World, you may find more information about the state’s SDVOB program from the Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veterans' Enterprise System. For more information on how to register and be certified as an SDVOB business, visit https://sdves.ogs.ny.gov/. The Commission’s SDVOB requirements will be enforced by the Commission’s Director of Regulation and Compliance.

Please note that all vendors doing business with Resorts World have an ongoing duty to comply with the rules, regulations and requirements of the New York State Gaming Commission, all of which are subject to change.
